SATURN BATH

Saturn Bath, a bathroom furniture company, won the Gold Award at the iF Design Awards 2019 for its ASSEM Collection.

It is the first Korean company to win the Gold Award for bathroom furniture; the industry sees this global recognition as a positive signal for Saturn Bath's global expansion. At the iF Design Award Night hosted at BMW Welt in Munich, Saturn Bath received the Gold Award for bathroom furniture for its ASSEM Collection. The company's ORBIS collection also won a main award in the bathroom furniture section. ASSEM Collection is notable for allowing combination of different parts. This modular configuration enhances the choice of consumers, who can combine different bathroom furniture parts to create diverse expressions. Song Seung-yong, the designer who created ASSEM Collection with Saturn Bath, explained that the collection “focuses on the design value of embracing and assimilating all spaces.” Judges of the iF Design Awards lauded ASSEM Collection, saying that the bathroom furniture is

“as beautiful as artistic masterpieces.”

'ASSEM Collection' is a new modular bathroom co-llection

that creates a variety of object expressions with

different parts. Such a module system (interior) by simply

departing from the fixed object type, and enables various

styles to be freely produced accord-ing to the user's selection

and Placement method.
